पृथ्वीनाथ! ये दोनों नर और नारायण प्राचीन काल के महान ऋषि थे और एक-दूसरे से बहुत प्रेम करते थे। अपनी बातचीत में वे दोनों सदैव देवताओं और ऋषियों की वंशावलियों की चर्चा करते तथा युद्ध की विचित्र कथाएँ और कष्ट सुनाते रहते थे।
Prithvinath! Both of them were great sages of ancient times, Nara and Narayana, and they loved each other very much. In their conversations, both of them always discussed the lineages of the gods and sages and narrated the strange stories and sufferings of war. 6-7.
