फिर अग्नि में शांति तथा पुष्टि कर्म का अनुष्ठान करके हवन का कार्य पूर्ण करें। तत्पश्चात अग्नि और सोमदेव को प्रणाम करके, शरीर पर भस्म लगाकर शुद्ध मन से नदी के तट पर जाकर सोम, वरुण और आदित्य को प्रणाम करके एकाग्रचित्त होकर जल में स्नान करें।

After that, pay obeisance to Agni and Somdev, apply ashes on your body and go to the bank of the river with a pure mind, pay obeisance to Soma, Varun and Aditya and take a bath in the water with concentration.
