पशुसख उवाच
यद् वै धर्मे परं नास्ति ब्राह्मणास्तद्धनं विदु:।
विनयार्थं सुविद्वांसमुपासेयं यथातथम्॥ ४७॥ |

| पशुशक ने कहा, "धर्म के मार्ग पर चलने से जो धन प्राप्त होता है, उससे बढ़कर कोई धन नहीं है। इस धन को केवल ब्राह्मण ही जानते हैं। इसलिए मैं भी उस धर्मयुक्त धन को प्राप्त करने की विधि सीखने के लिए विद्वान ब्राह्मणों की सेवा में लगा हुआ हूँ।" 47. |

| Pashusak said, "There is no wealth greater than that which is obtained by following the path of Dharma. Only Brahmins know about this wealth. Therefore, I am also engaged in the service of learned Brahmins to learn the method of acquiring that Dharma-filled wealth." 47. |
