देवतातिथिभि: सार्धं पितृभ्यश्चोपभुञ्जते।
रमन्ते पुत्रपौत्रेण तेषां गतिरनुत्तमा॥ १७॥ |

| जो मनुष्य देवताओं और अतिथियों सहित पितरों को भोजन कराकर भोजन करते हैं, वे इस लोक में अपने पुत्र-पौत्रों के साथ जीवन का आनंद लेते हैं और मृत्यु के बाद परम गति को प्राप्त होते हैं ॥17॥ |
