अमावास्यां महाप्राज्ञो विप्रानानाय्य पूजितान्।
दक्षिणावर्तिका: सर्वा बृसी: स्वयमथाकरोत्॥ १२॥ |

| तत्पश्चात् उन महाज्ञानी ऋषि ने अमावस्या के दिन सात ब्राह्मणों को बुलाकर उनकी पूजा की और स्वयं उनके लिए प्रदक्षिणा की दिशा में कुश के आसन बनाकर उन्हें उन पर बैठाया ॥12॥ |
