अथ चेद् वेदवित् सर्वै: पंक्तिदोषैर्विवर्जित:॥ ३९॥
न च स्यात् पतितो राजन् पंक्तिपावन एव स:।
अनुवाद
महाराज! यदि कोई ब्राह्मण वेदों का ज्ञान रखने वाला है और सब प्रकार के दोषों से रहित है, पतित नहीं हुआ है, तो वह कुल में शुद्ध ही है।
King! If any Brahmin having knowledge of Vedas is free from all kinds of defects in the lineage and has not fallen, then he is indeed pure in the lineage. 39 1/2
