ऋतुकालाभिगामी च धर्मपत्नीषु य: सदा।
वेदविद्याव्रतस्नातो विप्र: पंक्तिं पुनात्युत॥ २८॥
अनुवाद
जो पुरुष अपनी पत्नियों के साथ उनके मैथुन काल में सदैव समागम करता है तथा जिसने वेद और विद्या के व्रतों को सीख लिया है, वह ब्राह्मण कुल को पवित्र करता है।
He who always has intercourse with his wives during their mating season, and who has mastered the vows of the Vedas and learning, purifies the line of Brahmins. 28.
