भस्मनीव हुतं हव्यं तथा पौनर्भवे द्विजे।
ये तु धर्मव्यपेतेषु चारित्रापगतेषु च।
हव्यं कव्यं प्रयच्छन्ति तेषां तत् प्रेत्य नश्यति॥ १५॥ |

| जो स्त्री अपने पति को छोड़कर दूसरे पति को ले चुकी हो, उसके पुत्र को श्राद्ध में दिया गया भोजन भस्म मिले हुए तर्पण के समान व्यर्थ है। जो लोग धर्म और चरित्र से रहित ब्राह्मण को तर्पण करते हैं, उनका तर्पण परलोक में नष्ट हो जाता है। ॥15॥ |
