देवताओं से ऐसा कहकर बैलवाहन भगवान शंकर ने अपना 'रेत' अर्थात् वीर्य ऊपर की ओर उठा दिया। तब से वे 'ऊर्ध्वरेता' नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए ॥72॥
Saying this to the gods, Lord Shankar, the bull-carrying vehicle, raised his 'sand' i.e. semen upwards. Since then he became famous by the name ‘Urdhvareta’. 72॥
