गावो भूतं च भव्यं च गाव: पुष्टि: सनातनी।
गावो लक्ष्म्यास्तथा मूलं गोषु दत्तं न नश्यति॥ ६॥
अनुवाद
गायें भूत और भविष्य हैं। गायें चिरस्थायी पोषण का कारण और लक्ष्मी का मूल हैं। गायों को जो कुछ भी दिया जाता है, उसका पुण्य कभी नष्ट नहीं होता ॥6॥
Cows are the past and the future. Cows are the cause of everlasting nourishment and the root of Lakshmi. Whatever is given to cows, its merits never get destroyed. ॥ 6॥
