सोम यज्ञ से प्राप्त होता है और वह यज्ञ गौओं में प्रतिष्ठित होता है, जिससे देवता प्रसन्न होते हैं; इसलिए पहले जीविका आती है, फिर प्रजा। 14.
Soma is obtained from sacrifices and that sacrifice is established in cows, by which the gods are pleased; therefore, first comes livelihood, then the people. 14.
