ब्राह्मणस्य फलं हीदं क्षत्रियस्य तु वै शृणु॥ ३३॥
पञ्चवार्षिकमेवं तु क्षत्रियस्य फलं स्मृतम्।
ततोऽर्धेन तु वैश्यस्य शूद्रो वैश्यार्धत: स्मृत:॥ ३४॥ |

| यह ब्राह्मण के लिए फलदायी कहा गया है। अब क्षत्रियों को मिलने वाले फल का वर्णन सुनो। यदि कोई क्षत्रिय इस प्रकार पाँच वर्षों तक गौ-पूजा करे, तो उसे भी वही फल मिलता है। वैश्यों को उससे आधे समय में और शूद्रों को उससे आधे समय में वही फल प्राप्त होता है। 33-34॥ |

| This was said to be fruitful for the Brahmin. Now listen to the description of the fruits that the Kshatriyas get. If a Kshatriya worships cow in this manner for five years, he gets the same results. Vaishyas are said to achieve the same results in half that time and Shudras in half that time. 33-34॥ |
