भीष्म ने कहा- युधिष्ठिर! गौ, भूमि और सरस्वती- ये तीनों वस्तुएँ एक ही नाम वाली हैं- इन तीनों का दान करना चाहिए। इन तीनों वस्तुओं के दान का फल भी एक ही है। ये तीनों वस्तुएँ मनुष्य की समस्त कामनाओं को पूर्ण करती हैं॥ 4॥
Bhishma said- Yudhishthira! Cow, land and Saraswati- these three things have the same name- these three things should be donated. The result of donating these three things is also the same. These three things fulfill all the desires of human beings.॥ 4॥
