या दुस्त्यजा दुर्मतिभिर्या न जीर्यति जीर्यत:।
योऽसौ प्राणान्तिको रोगस्तां तृष्णां त्यजत: सुखम्॥ २१॥ |

| जो मनुष्य के वृद्ध हो जाने पर भी पुरानी नहीं होती और जो प्राणनाशक रोग की तरह सताती रहती है, इस कामना को त्यागना मिथ्या बुद्धि वाले पुरुषों के लिए कठिन है; इस कामना को त्यागने वाले को ही सुख प्राप्त होता है॥21॥ |
