| | | | श्लोक 13.64.81-82  | इक्षुभि: संततां भूमिं यवगोधूमशालिनीम्।
गोऽश्ववाहनपूर्णां वा बाहुवीर्यादुपार्जिताम्॥ ८१॥
निधिगर्भां ददद् भूमिं सर्वरत्नपरिच्छदाम्।
अक्षयाँल्लभते लोकान् भूमिसत्रं हि तस्य तत्॥ ८२॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | जो भूमि गन्ने के वृक्षों से आच्छादित हो, जिस पर जौ और गेहूँ की फसलें लहलहा रही हों, अथवा जहाँ बैल, घोड़े आदि वाहन हों, जिसके नीचे धन गड़ा हो और जो सब प्रकार के रत्नजटित उपकरणों से सुशोभित हो, ऐसी भूमि को जो राजा अपनी बाहुबल से जीतकर दान करता है, उसे अनन्त लोकों की प्राप्ति होती है। उसके दान को भूमि यज्ञ कहते हैं। 81-82। | | | | The land which is covered with sugarcane trees, on which barley and wheat crops are flourishing, or where bulls and horses and other vehicles are present, under which there is buried treasure and which is decorated with all kinds of jeweled equipments, the king who wins such land by his arm strength and donates it, gets eternal worlds.
