न खातपूर्वं कुर्वीत न रुदन्ती धनं हरेत्॥ २५॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | राजा को चाहिए कि वह वृद्ध, बालक, दरिद्र और अंधे के धन की रक्षा करे। जब वर्षा न हो और प्रजा कुआँ खोदकर किसी प्रकार खेत की सिंचाई करके कुछ फसल उगाकर उससे जीविका चला ले, तो राजा को वह धन नहीं लेना चाहिए। और जो स्त्री किसी दुःख से रो रही हो, उसका धन भी राजा को नहीं लेना चाहिए॥ 25॥ | | | | The king should protect the wealth of the old, the child, the poor and the blind.
