भीष्म उवाच
तत: स राजा रात्र्यन्ते प्रतिबुद्धो महामना:।
कृतपूर्वाह्णिक: प्रायात् सभार्यस्तद् वनं प्रति॥ १॥ |

| भीष्म कहते हैं - हे राजन! रात्रि बीत जाने पर महामनस्वी राजा कुशिक उठे और प्रातःकाल के नित्य कर्मों से निवृत्त होकर अपनी रानी के साथ उस आश्रम की ओर चल पड़े। |
