ब्राह्मण की बताई गई चार पुत्रियों में से केवल दो स्त्रियों - ब्राह्मणी और क्षत्रिय - के गर्भ से ब्राह्मण ही उत्पन्न होता है, तथा शेष दो वैश्य और शूद्र स्त्रियों के गर्भ से उत्पन्न पुत्र क्रमशः माता की जाति के ब्राह्मणत्व से हीन माने जाते हैं।4॥
Of the four daughters of a Brahmin mentioned, only a Brahmin is born from the womb of two women - Brahmin and Kshatriya, and the sons born from the womb of the remaining two Vaishya and Shudra women are considered to be inferior to Brahminism, respectively, of the mother's caste. 4॥
