दारा इत्युच्यते लोके नाम्नैकेन परंतप।
प्रोक्तेन चैव नाम्नायं विशेष: सुमहान् भवेत् ॥ ३०॥ |

| भीष्म बोले, "हे शत्रुओं को पीड़ा देने वाले राजन! इस संसार में सभी स्त्रियाँ एक ही नाम 'दारा' से जानी जाती हैं। यह तथाकथित नाम ही चारों वर्णों की स्त्रियों से उत्पन्न पुत्रों में महान भेद का कारण है ॥30॥ |
