तदा चैतत् कुलं नास्ति यदा शोचन्ति जामय:॥ ६॥
जामीशप्तानि गेहानि निकृत्तानीव कृत्यया।
नैव भान्ति न वर्धन्ते श्रिया हीनानि पार्थिव॥ ७॥ |

| जब किसी परिवार की बहू-बेटियाँ दुःख के कारण शोक से भर जाती हैं, तब वह परिवार नष्ट हो जाता है। जिन घरों को वे क्रोध में शाप देती हैं, वे डायन द्वारा नष्ट किए गए घरों के समान उजाड़ हो जाते हैं। हे पृथ्वी के स्वामी! धनहीन वे घर न तो सुन्दर होते हैं और न ही उनकी वृद्धि होती है। 6-7। |

| When the daughters-in-law and daughters of a family are filled with grief due to suffering, then that family is destroyed. The houses which they curse in anger become desolate like those destroyed by a witch. O Lord of the earth! Those houses without wealth are neither beautiful nor do they grow. 6-7. |
