कृत्तोत्तमाङ्गास्ते राजन् भल्लै: शतसहस्रश:।
अपतन् रुधिरार्द्राङ्गा निकृत्ता इव किंशुका:॥ ४३॥ |

| हे राजन! बाणों के प्रहार से उनके सिर सैकड़ों-हजारों टुकड़ों में टूट गए। उनके सारे शरीर रक्त से लथपथ हो गए और वे कटे हुए पलाश वृक्ष की भाँति भूमि पर गिर पड़े। |
