देवा: सोमार्कसंस्थानि यथा सत्रादिभिर्मखै:।
अमृतान्युपजीवन्ति तथा गङ्गाजलं नरा:॥ ५३॥ |

| जैसे देवतागण चन्द्रमा और सूर्य में स्थित अमृत से सत्र आदि यज्ञों द्वारा अपनी जीविका चलाते हैं, वैसे ही संसार के मनुष्य गंगाजल का आश्रय लेते हैं ॥53॥ |
