नार्हतस्तावपि श्राद्धं ब्रह्मविक्रयिणौ हि तौ॥ १७॥ |

| भरतनन्दन! जो ब्राह्मण वेतन लेकर पढ़ाता है और जो वेतन लेकर पढ़ता है, वे दोनों ही वेदों के विक्रेता हैं; इसलिए वे श्राद्ध में सम्मिलित होने के योग्य नहीं हैं॥17॥ |
