नैता जानन्ति पितरं न कुलं न च मातरम्॥ ९३॥
न भ्रातॄन् न च भर्तारं न च पुत्रान् न देवरान्।
लीलायन्त्य: कुलं घ्नन्ति कूलानीव सरिद्वरा:।
दोषान् सर्वांश्च मत्वाऽऽशु प्रजापतिरभाषत॥ ९४॥
अनुवाद
ये स्त्रियाँ न तो अपने पिता को जानती हैं, न अपनी माता को, न अपने कुल को, न अपने भाइयों को। इन्हें अपने पति, पुत्र और देवर की कोई परवाह नहीं। ये अपनी विषय-वासनाओं को अपने तक ही सीमित रखकर, सम्पूर्ण कुल की मर्यादा को नष्ट कर देती हैं, जैसे बड़ी नदियाँ अपने तट तोड़ देती हैं। इन सब दोषों को समझकर ही प्रजापति ने स्त्रियों के विषय में उपरोक्त बातें कही हैं।
These women neither know their father nor their mother, neither do they understand their family nor their brothers. They do not care for their husbands, sons and brothers-in-law. By keeping sexual desires for themselves they destroy the dignity of the entire family, just like big rivers break their own banks. It is after understanding all these faults that Prajapati has said the above things about women.
