जिसकी मृत्यु का समय अभी नहीं आया है, वह सैकड़ों बाणों से बिंधने पर भी नहीं मरता; किन्तु जिसका समय आ गया है, वह तिनके के एक सिरे से भी छू जाने पर भी प्राण त्याग देता है।
He whose time of death has not yet come, does not die even if he is pierced by hundreds of arrows; but he whose time has come, gives up his life even if he is touched by the tip of a straw.
