स पौराणीं ब्रह्मगुहां प्रविष्टो
महीसत्रं भारताग्रे ददर्श।
स चैव गामुद्दधाराग्रॺकर्मा
विक्षोभ्य दैत्यानुरगान् दानवांश्च॥ १७॥ |

| भरत! ये वही हैं जिन्होंने पूर्वकाल में ब्रह्मा रूप धारण करके प्राचीन गुफा में प्रवेश किया था और पृथ्वी को जलमग्न होते देखा था। इस सृष्टि के रचयिता कृष्ण ने दैत्यों, दानवों और नागों को व्याकुल करके इस पृथ्वी को रसातल से बचाया था॥ 17॥ |
