उस समय उनकी आँखें क्रोध से जल रही थीं। इंद्र ने भी ऋषि पर अपने वज्र से प्रहार किया। उन्हें आक्रमण करते देख, तपस्वी च्यवन ने इंद्र पर जल छिड़का और वज्र तथा पर्वत सहित उन्हें अचेत कर दिया। उन्हें गतिहीन कर दिया।
At that time his eyes were burning with anger. Lord Indra also attacked the sage with his thunderbolt. Seeing him attacking, the ascetic Chyavana sprinkled water on Indra and stunned him along with the thunderbolt and the mountain. He made them motionless.
