अदूरात् तु ततस्तेषां ब्रह्मदत्तवरं सर:।
हताहता वै तत्रैते जीवन्त्याप्लुत्य दानवा:॥ १८॥ |

| ‘उनके निकट ही मानसरोवर था, जिसके विषय में दैत्यों को ब्रह्माजी से वरदान प्राप्त था कि ‘इसमें डुबकी लगाने से तुम्हें नया जीवन प्राप्त होगा’; इसलिए उस समय मारे गए दैत्यों को अन्य दैत्य उठाकर सरोवर में डाल देते थे और वे उसके जल में डुबकी लगाते ही पुनः जीवित हो जाते थे॥18॥ |

| ‘Near them was the Manasarovar, for which the demons had received a boon from Brahmaji that ‘by taking a dip in it you will get a new life’; therefore, at that time, the demons who got killed were picked up by other demons and thrown into the lake and they would come back to life as soon as they took a dip in its water.॥ 18॥ |
