बलिस्तु यजते यज्ञमश्वमेधं महीं गत:।

| उस समय राजा बलि पृथ्वी पर आकर अश्वमेध यज्ञ कर रहे थे। अतः केवल वे ही राक्षस जलकर बच गए जो पृथ्वी पर उनके साथ थे और अन्य जो पाताल में थे।॥10॥ |
