युधिष्ठिर उवाच
के पूज्या: के नमस्कार्या: कथं वर्तेत केषु च।
किमाचार: कीदृशेषु पितामह न रिष्यते॥ १॥ |

| युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा, "पितामह! इस संसार में पूजनीय कौन लोग हैं? हमें किसको नमस्कार करना चाहिए? किसके साथ कैसा व्यवहार करना चाहिए तथा किस प्रकार के लोगों के साथ कैसा व्यवहार अपनाना चाहिए, जिससे किसी को हानि न हो?"॥1॥ |
