तेषां विशेषं वक्ष्यामि शृणु देवि समाहिता।
दुस्त्यजस्य च वै दानं पात्र आनन्त्यमुच्यते॥
अनुवाद
देवी! मैं तुम्हें इन पाँचों की विशेषता बता रहा हूँ, ध्यानपूर्वक सुनो। जिस धन का त्याग करना अत्यन्त कठिन हो, उसे सुपात्र को देने से 'अनन्त्य' कहा जाता है, अर्थात् उस दान का फल अनन्त और चिरस्थायी होता है।
Devi! I am telling you the specialty of these five, listen carefully. The wealth which is very difficult to give up, giving it to a deserving person is called 'Anantya' i.e. the fruit of that donation is endless and everlasting.
