वे जीवों को जिस भी कारण से ले जाते हैं, उस कारण का निर्माण स्वयं ही करते हैं। इस संसार में कर्मानुसार तीन प्रकार के जीव होते हैं - अच्छे, मध्यम और बुरे। वे उन सभी जीवों को उनके पुण्य के अनुसार ले जाते हैं और यमलोक भेज देते हैं।
