चीरवल्कलसंवीतैर्मृगचर्मनिवासिभि:।
कार्या यात्रा यथाकालं यथाधर्मं यथाविधि॥ १२॥ |

| अधोवस्त्र के स्थान पर उन्हें चिथड़े और छाल पहनने चाहिए, तथा ऊपरी वस्त्र के स्थान पर मृगचर्म से शरीर को ढकना चाहिए। उन्हें समयानुसार तथा धर्म के उद्देश्य से विधिपूर्वक तीर्थस्थानों आदि का भ्रमण करना चाहिए।॥12॥ |

| Instead of undergarments they should wear rags and bark, and in place of the upper garment they should cover their bodies with deerskin. They should visit places of pilgrimage etc. according to the time and for the purpose of religion in a prescribed manner.॥12॥ |
