यज्ञश्च परमो धर्मस्तथाहिंसा च देहिषु।
अपूर्वभोजनं धर्मो विघसाशित्वमेव च॥ ४१॥
अनुवाद
यज्ञ करना और किसी भी प्राणी को कष्ट न पहुँचाना, यही उसका परम धर्म है। घर में पहले भोजन न करना और निराशावादी होना - परिवार के सदस्यों के भोजन करने के बाद ही बचा हुआ भोजन खाना - यह भी उसका धर्म है॥ 41॥
Performing sacrifices and not harming any living being is the ultimate religion for him. Not eating first in the house and being a pessimist - eating the leftovers only after the family members have eaten - this is also his religion.॥ 41॥
