श्रुतं ते भवतस्तात सत्यव्रतपराक्रम।
दानधर्मेण महता ये प्राप्तास्त्रिदिवं नृपा:॥ १॥

(अगले दिन प्रातःकाल) युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा- सत्यव्रती और पराक्रमी पिताश्री! आपके मुख से मैंने उन समस्त राजाओं का परिचय सुना है, जो दान से उत्पन्न महान धर्म के प्रभाव से स्वर्गलोक में गए हैं। 1॥
(Morning of the next day) Yudhishthir asked – Satyavrati and valiant father! From your mouth, I have heard the introduction of all the kings who have gone to heaven due to the influence of the great religion generated by charity. 1॥
