मत्तो जातानि भूतानि मया धार्यन्त्यहर्निशम्।
मय्येव विलयं यान्ति प्रलये पन्नगाशन॥ |

| गरुड़! समस्त जीव मुझसे ही उत्पन्न हुए हैं, मेरे ही कारण वे दिन-रात जीवित रहते हैं और प्रलय के समय वे सभी मुझमें ही लीन हो जाते हैं। |
