तिलपात्रे फलं प्राह भगवान् पाकशासन:।
गोप्रदानं च य: कुर्याद् भूमिदानं च शाश्वतम्॥ १२॥
अग्निष्टोमं च यो यज्ञं यजेत बहुदक्षिणम्।
तिलपात्रं सहैतेन समं मन्यन्ति देवता:॥ १३॥ |

| भगवान् इन्द्र ने तिलदान का फल इस प्रकार बताया है- जो सदा गौ और भूमि का दान करता है तथा जो अनेक दक्षिणावाले अग्निष्टोम यज्ञों का अनुष्ठान करता है, देवता भी तिलदान को उसी का पुण्य मानते हैं ॥12-13॥ |
