भीष्म उवाच
साम्ना प्रसाद्यते कश्चिद् दानेन च तथा पर:।
पुरुषप्रकृतिं ज्ञात्वा तयोरेकतरं भजेत्॥ २॥
अनुवाद
भीष्मजी बोले, "बेटा! कुछ लोग शांति से प्रसन्न होते हैं और कुछ लोग दान से। इसलिए व्यक्ति का स्वभाव समझकर दोनों में से किसी एक को अपना लेना चाहिए॥ 2॥
Bhishmaji said, "Son! Some people are pleased with peace and some with charity. Therefore, after understanding the nature of the person, one should adopt one of the two.॥ 2॥
