| पिताजी! मैं अपने में तप से उत्पन्न सौभाग्य देखता हूँ और आपमें जन्मजात महान सौभाग्य है (क्योंकि आप मेरे गुरुपुत्र हैं)। मैं आत्मा और परमात्मा में बहुत थोड़ा सा भेद मानता हूँ। परमात्मा सब पदार्थों से संबंधित है; क्योंकि वह सर्वव्यापी है। इसीलिए मैं उसे आत्मा से श्रेष्ठ मानता हूँ, किन्तु आप आत्मा को परमात्मा से अभिन्न मानते हैं, फिर भी आपका आचरण इस मान्यता से भिन्न है; क्योंकि आपको आश्चर्य हुआ है और मुझे नहीं।'॥8॥ |

| ‘Father! I see in me the good fortune born of penance and in you there is innate great fortune (because you are my Guru's son). I believe there is very little difference between the soul and the Supreme Soul. The Supreme Soul is related to all things; because He is omnipresent. That is why I consider Him to be superior to the soul, but you believe that the soul is inseparable from the Supreme Soul, yet your conduct is different from this belief; because you have been surprised and I have not.'॥ 8॥ |
