तुम शुभ-अशुभ का ज्ञान प्राप्त करो और मन तथा इन्द्रियों को वश में करके प्रजा का भलीभाँति पालन करो। उत्तम भोगों का दान करके, अशुभ दोषों का नाश करके, प्रजा को पवित्र करके आत्मज्ञानी और सुखी बनो तथा स्वधर्म पालन में सदैव तत्पर रहो। तत्पश्चात् तुम क्षत्रिय शरीर त्यागकर ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त होगे। 4-5॥
You should acquire the knowledge of auspicious and inauspicious and after controlling your mind and senses, follow the people well. By donating good pleasures, by eradicating inauspicious defects, by purifying the people, become self-aware and happy and always be ready to practice your own religion. After that you will leave the Kshatriya body and attain Brahminhood. 4-5॥
