कीट उवाच
इदं तदतुलं स्थानमीप्सितं दशभिर्गुणै:।
यदहं प्राप्य कीटत्वमागतो राजपुत्रताम्॥ १२॥ |

| कीट (क्षत्रिय) बोला—हे प्रभु! आज मैंने वह पद प्राप्त कर लिया है, जिसकी कोई तुलना नहीं है। मैं पिछले दस जन्मों से उसे प्राप्त करना चाहता था। आपकी कृपा है कि अपने दोषों के कारण कीट होते हुए भी मैं आज राजकुमार बन गया हूँ॥ 12॥ |
