ब्राह्मण! मेरे दो सौ पुत्र काल के ग्रास बन गए । ब्राह्मण! मैं पहले राजा था । उस समय मेरे सौ पुत्र थे । हे ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ! वे सब मेरे ही समान थे । एक दिन मैं आखेट के लिए घने वन में गया और वहाँ भ्रमित होकर इधर-उधर भटकने लगा ॥ 34-35॥
‘Brahmin! My two hundred sons were killed by death. Brahmin! I was a king earlier. At that time I had a hundred sons. O best of Brahmins! All of them were like me. One day I went to a deep forest for hunting and there I got confused and started wandering here and there. ॥ 34-35॥
