भीष्म उवाच
(पातकानां परं ह्येतद् ब्रह्मस्वहरणं बलात्।
सान्वयास्ते विनश्यन्ति चण्डाला: प्रेत्य चेह च॥ ) |

| भीष्म बोले, "हे राजन! ब्राह्मणों का धन बलपूर्वक चुराना सबसे बड़ा पाप है। चाण्डाल स्वभाव वाले मनुष्य जो ब्राह्मणों का धन लूटते हैं, वे अपने सम्पूर्ण परिवार सहित नष्ट हो जाते हैं।" |
