जघ्नुस्ता: पयसा पुत्रांस्तथा पौत्रान् विधुन्वती:।
पशूनवेक्षमाणाश्च साधुवृत्तेन दम्पती॥ ८॥ |

| जब अपहृत गौएँ अन्य पशुओं को देखतीं और अपने स्वामियों तथा बछड़ों को नहीं देखतीं, तब वे पीड़ा से शरीर काँपने लगतीं। उन दिनों सद्भक्तिपूर्वक दूध देकर वे अपहृत पति-पत्नी तथा उनके पुत्र-पौत्रों का भी नाश कर देतीं। ॥8॥ |
