As soon as he got hit on his head, Maharishi Bhrigu, sitting inside the matted hair, became extremely angry and cursed Nahusha, the sinful soul, in this manner – ‘O evil one! You have angrily kicked this great sage in the head, hence you should quickly turn into a snake and go to earth.
