महामनस्वी राजा नहुष के घर में अग्निहोत्र, हवन, कुशा, पुष्प, अन्न और लावा, धूप और दीप-ये सब प्रतिदिन होते थे। स्वर्ग में रहते हुए भी वे जप-यज्ञ और मनोयज्ञ (ध्यान) करते रहते थे।॥7-8॥
Agnihotra, offering of firewood, kusha, flowers, food and lava, offering of incense and lamp-all these were performed daily in the house of the great-minded king Nahush. Even while living in heaven, he used to perform Japa-Yagya and Manoyagya (meditation).॥ 7-8॥
