यदि ते कृतमाज्ञाय नमस्कुर्यु: सदैवतम्।
युक्तं न्याय्यं च कुर्युस्ते न च तद् वर्तते तथा॥ १७॥ |

| यदि बचाये हुए लोग उस वीर योद्धा के प्रति कृतज्ञ रहते हैं और उसे प्रणाम करते हैं, तभी वे उसके प्रति अपना न्यायोचित कर्तव्य पूरा कर पाते हैं; अन्यथा उनकी स्थिति ठीक विपरीत होती है ॥17॥ |
