राजा को बलपूर्वक पराजित व्यक्ति से कभी युद्ध नहीं करना चाहिए। उसे कैद करके एक वर्ष तक सद्भावनापूर्वक रहना सिखाना चाहिए; फिर उसका पुनर्जन्म होता है। वह विजयी राजा का पुत्र बन जाता है (अतः उसे एक वर्ष बाद रिहा कर देना चाहिए)।
The king should never fight a man who has been defeated by force. He should be imprisoned and taught to live in harmony for a year; then he is reborn. He becomes like a son to the victorious king (so he should be released after a year).
