यह दुष्टों का काम है। सज्जन पुरुष को चाहिए कि वह धर्म के द्वारा दुष्टों पर विजय प्राप्त करे। धर्म-आधारित युद्ध करते हुए मरना अच्छा है; परन्तु पाप कर्मों से जीतना अच्छा नहीं है ॥16॥
This is the work of the wicked. A noble man should win over the wicked through Dharma. It is good to die while fighting a Dharma-based war; but it is not good to win through sinful acts. ॥16॥
