कश्यप उवाच
एवमस्मिन् वर्तते लोक एव
नामुत्रैवं वर्तते राजपुत्र।
प्रेत्यैतयोरन्तरावान् विशेषो
यो वै पुण्यं चरते यश्च पापम्॥ २५॥ |

| कश्यप बोले- राजकुमार! ऐसी बातें तो इसी लोक में देखने को मिलती हैं, परलोक में ऐसा आचरण देखने को नहीं मिलता। अच्छे कर्म करने वाला और बुरे कर्म करने वाला - दोनों ही जब मृत्यु के बाद परलोक जाते हैं, तो वहाँ उनकी स्थिति में बहुत बड़ा अंतर आ जाता है। |

| Kashyap said- Prince! Such things are seen only in this world, this kind of behaviour is not seen in the other world. The one who does good deeds and the one who does bad deeds - when both go to the other world after death, there is a huge difference in their condition there. |
